Established in 1978 by Ian Castree in a small workshop in Padfield, Birchfield Sheet Metal has grown into larger, fully equipped industrial premises in Hyde. Still a family business it is run by sons Gavin and Jonathan. We’ve always been a people-focused business. We treat our customers as partners and have evolved to meet their needs, progressing from traditional sheet metal work to fabricate in aluminium, steel and ferrous metals and from traditional fabrication and structural steelwork to the design, manufacture and on-site installation of the innovative products now in demand.
